Manchester City Football Club and St Laurence’s College have partnered to deliver the first Manchester Football School in Queensland and the second in Australia.

St Laurence’s College combines its excellent sporting programs with the expertise, knowledge and connections of the most successful football clubs in the world to develop the next generation of footballers who embody the values of the College.

Enrolment in the Manchester Football School at St Laurence's College is open to all current and future students in Years 5, 6 and 7 in 2023 with the program growing to Years 5-8 in 2024. Successful applicants will require College enrolment and to trial under Manchester City coaches and College staff.

Through this partnership, St Laurence’s College students will have access to a full-time Manchester City Football Club Academy coach who will deliver the program and give students access to training both in and outside of normal school hours year-round.

On top of this, future international tours with the Manchester City Football Academy, the Manchester City Abu Dhabi Cup Tournament and links with the 12 Clubs of the City Football Group, will be provided.
